Antique french stove
this is a truly stunning antique french enamel stove. this stove is one of several we found on our latest buying trip to france. this stove has been sympathicaly restored and ready for use, not only is this stove a very usefull room heater but in itself is a very good looking item .
this stove was designed for coal and coke burning but will easily burn wood in smaller pieces.
it was made by the established quality manufacturers de ville cie from charleville in the ardennes region of france. it was made between 1910 to 1930
it is a medium size stove
height 63 cm or 24 3/4 inches
height with top lid up 82 cm or 32 inches
width 44cm or 17 1/4 inches
depth 26 cm or 10 1/4 inches
flue diameter 8.3cm or 3 1/4 inches
suitable for rooms up to 75m 100 m cubed 14 x 14 feet
this stove is in full working order it has minor chips to the enamel which in no way detracts from its beauty, in addition it is finished in the sort after rich burgandy colour. this stove would make a refined addition to any style environment.
